PRAGUE, — Magda Vasaryova played in such classic Czechoslovak films as the historic epic “Marketa Lazarova” (1968), directed by Frantisek Vlacil, or Jiri Menzel’s “Short cut” (1980). In the 1990s she started a political career and became the CSFR’s first ambassador in Vienna. Now she’s the Slovak Republic’s ambassador to Poland.
